Sauna On Wheels
The Sauna On wheels project started with Shell and Liat's dream; having a real Swedish sauna in their borderland camp (The Swedish regional burn), this moved on with the connection to the Swedish legend Emil (thank you Carro!) and continued with some interesting twists and a rocky journey. Emil wanted to give the project a twist and build a sauna on wheels. If that's not crazy enough, we designed it in an Aerodynamic shape, using cutting edge materials like transparent polycarbonate facades, combined with traditional Scandinavian wood and techniques. This sauna served hundreds of people in its summer tour and traveled more than 1,000 km and lived to land in its final destination: Emil's Mom's backyard on the island of Gotland.

Planning the circulation
In the process of planning It was very important to plan the circulation and the flow of people taking into account the thermodynamics distribution of the space. many iterations were done in order the find the best configuration
Make it hot
The inclined roof shape creates a passive airflow and follows thermodynamics principals. no need for fans or waving of towels
Innovating the field
Along side working in traditional woodworking techniques we were using 16mm Isolating Polycarbonate sheets for the cladding. this material comes from the agriculture industry and is widely used in green houses. We used the characteristics of this material for the new and intersting look and great isolating properties
